A clear head remembers what it loves. Mine found AI at the bottom — and it pulled me back up.

I nearly drowned at Christmas, sucked into a river mouth. Spent the weeks after watching YouTube, head a mess. That's how I stumbled into AI — and something lit up that hadn't in years.

Passion doesn't arrive when you're numbing yourself. It needs a clear head to even hear it. Sober, the thing you actually love gets loud again.

Passion can't shout over a drink. Sober, the thing you love gets loud enough to follow.

For me it went from ChatGPT tourist to terminal native fast — because it wasn't work, it was obsession. The good kind. The kind that runs a company now.

This rung is about finding the thing you'd do for free, and then being clever enough to build the rest of your life around it.

By accident, at the bottom. A near-drowning, weeks of YouTube, and one rabbit hole that didn't close. It went from curiosity to obsession to the thing that runs everything.
